Alcoa (NYSE:
AA) kicked off earnings season on Monday afternoon after the closing bell. The company reported adjusted fourth quarter net income of $277 million or $0.24 per share, compared to a loss of $277 million or $0.28 per share in the year ago period. This compared to analysts' consensus EPS estimates of $0.19 per share.
Fourth quarter revenue increased to $5.7 billion versus $5.4 billion in last year's corresponding quarter. This also beat Wall Street consensus of $5.68 billion.
In the after hours trading session, AA shares have fallen 1.21% to $16.24.
