FormTech (AXL) files for bankruptcy

FormTech Industries LLC (NYSE: AXL), a supplier of forged metal automotive components, filed for bankruptcy protection. It also sought approval to sell all its assets through a court-supervised auction. The Royal Oak, Michigan-based company listed assets in the range of $100 M to $500 M and debt in the range of $50 M to $100 M.
