EU to Probe Oracle's (ORCL) Bid to Buy Sun (JAVA)

European Union regulators launched an antitrust probe into U.S. software maker Oracle Corp.'s (NASDAQ: ORCL) takeover of Sun Microsystems Inc. NASDAQ: JAVA). This was because EU felt that the deal could mean higher prices and limited choice for database software.
