Bronco Drilling Company, Inc. (NASDAQ: BRNC) is among the top percentage gainers in morning trade and surged 32.66% to $5.89 on huge volume of 1.12 million shares on no news. Since the last week the stock has been trading on high volume and surged up 53% till now in the last 5 trading sessions.

WHX Corporation (NASDAQ: WXCO) rallied 25% on 704K shares and now trades at $2.o on no news. During the morning trade the stock touched a day high of $2.14 and low of $1.63. till now during the current calendar year the stock has corrected over 73%.

Sprint Nextel Corporation (NYSE: S) is also moving higher by 11.67% to $4.21 after Dow Jones reported that Deutsche Telekom AG as called in banking advisers to study a possible multibillion-dollar bid for Sprint Nextel Corporation, the Sunday Telegraph reported. However later on Dow Jones reported that Sprint Nextel Corporation is not in talks with Deutsche Telekom AG over a deal for the German telecommunications giant to buy Sprint Nextel Corporation, CNBC's David Faber reported, citing a person close to Sprint Nextel Corporation. A U.K. newspaper, the Sunday Telegraph, said Deutsche Telekom AG is prepared to make a bid for Sprint Nextel Corporation.

Hyperdynamics Corporation (AMEX: HDY) soared 20% to near to its 52 week high of $1.54 and now trades at $1.35 on an unusual volume of 680K shares after today it announced that following a week of negotiations, Ray Leonard, Chief Executive Officer, and Minister of Mines, Energy and Hydraulics of the Republic of Guinea, Mahmoud Thiam, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding ("MOU"). The MOU is a binding agreement reaffirming the validity of Hyperdynamics' concession.

Irvine Sensors Corporation (NASDAQ: IRSN) jumped up 71% to $0.58 on massive volume of 457K shares on the news that it has received $4.6 million in new development contract awards in approximately the last 30 days.
