The projects, with a combined capacity of 14.4 MW DC, are planned for industrial brownfield sites and are eligible for incentives under the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority’s NY-Sun Program. Pending permits and financing, SolarBank intends to begin construction, aiming to provide cost-saving solar energy access to renters and homeowners through the local power grid.
