Larian Studios, the creator of Baldur’s Gate 3, is set to release a new Deluxe Edition for PC, Sony Group Corp.'s SONY PlayStation 5 and Microsoft Corp.'s MSFT Xbox Series X/S.
According to Kotaku, this edition includes physical game media, varying in disc numbers for different platforms due to technical reasons. The PC version, despite having a single disc, doesn’t need it to play, as it comes with a digital key and uses the disc for installation purposes only.

The Deluxe Edition boasts additional content: 32 stickers, two patches, a world map, a mind flayer poster and a three-disc soundtrack packaged in a book-like box.
Surprisingly, this extensive package is priced at $79.99, just $10 more than the base game, making it an attractive deal for fans wanting collectibles and physical media.
It's worth noting the Deluxe Edition won’t be available until the first quarter of 2024.
Moreover, Larian Studios announced the imminent reveal of Baldur's Gate 3's Xbox Series X|S release date at The Game Awards 2023, affirming its target for a year-end launch.
"Xbox players, we hear you’re looking for more news on Baldur’s Gate 3. The game is on track for a December release," the developer wrote on X. "We’ll see you at The Game Awards for the World Premiere of the exact release date."
Initially launched for PC and PS5 a few months ago, the Xbox version encountered hurdles, particularly regarding the Series S's incapability for split-screen play.
Despite Microsoft's policy for feature parity between Series X and S versions, Baldur's Gate 3 secured an exception, launching the Series S version without a split screen; only the Series X will support this feature.
