The company&nbsp;increased the midpoint of our 2024 earnings per diluted share, FFO, CFFO per share, and same-store NOI&nbsp;guidance&nbsp;ranges, while updating our interest expense, transaction volume, and capital expenditure&nbsp;guidance. Earnings per diluted share is now projected to be in the range of&nbsp;$0.36&nbsp;to&nbsp;$0.38.&nbsp;

Independence Realty Trust (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/IRT#NYSE">IRT</a>) reported quarterly Core FFO of $0.28 per share which met the analyst consensus estimate. This is unchanged from the same period last year. The company reported quarterly sales of $158.104 million which missed the analyst consensus estimate of $161.238 million by 1.94 percent. This is a 3.36 percent decrease over sales of $163.601 million the same period last year.

NexPoint currently pays a quarterly dividend of $0.46242 per share, equating to an annualized dividend of about $1.85 per share and giving its stock a yield of about 4.8% at the time of this writing. 
On top of offering a high yield, NexPoint is a dividend-growth star. It has raised its annual dividend payment for eight consecutive years, and its 10.1% hike  in October has it on pace for 2024 to mark the ninth consecutive year with an increase.
