Corporates, which consists of legal professionals and tax and accounting products sold to corporations, also makes up about 20%-25% of the firm's revenue and EBITDA. Thomson Reuters' smaller segments include its Reuters news business and global print business.

The business information services provider&#8217;s adjusted EPS of 80 cents beat the <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/calendars/earnings" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">analyst consensus estimate of 77 cents</a>. The stock price climbed after the print.
Organic revenues increased by 7%, driven by 8% growth in recurring revenues (84% of total revenues).&nbsp;
The &#8220;Big 3&#8221; segments (Legal Professionals, Corporates, and Tax &amp; Accounting Professionals) collectively comprised 81% of total revenues and reported organic revenue growth of 9%. Here&#8217;s a breakdown:

He also emphasized progress in the &#8220;Build, Partner, Buy&#8221; strategy, with recent AI product launches, updates to the CoCounsel GenAI assistant, and strategic acquisitions of Safe Sign Technologies and Materia, which enhance the company&#8217;s GenAI solutions for professional clients.
FY24 Outlook:&nbsp;Thomson Reuters&nbsp;reiterated revenue of $7.27 billion against&nbsp;a&nbsp;<a target="_blank" href="https://www.benzinga.com/calendars/guidance" rel="noreferrer noopener">consensus of $7.28 billion</a>.

Russian forces destroyed 35 Ukrainian tanks, 31 armored personnel carriers, 18 infantry fighting vehicles and 179 other armored vehicles during the week-long battle, it said.
&#8220;The uncontrolled ride of the enemy has already been halted,&#8221; Major General Apti Alaudinov, the commander of the Chechen Akhmat special forces unit, told Reuters. &#8220;The enemy is already aware that the blitzkrieg that it planned did not work out.&#8221;
It was not clear whether Ukraine or Russia had control of the Russian town of Sudzha, through which Russia sends gas  from Western Siberia and through Ukraineto Slovakia and other European Union countries. Russian oil and gas company Gazprom said Tuesday it was still pumping gas to Ukraine through Sudzha.
