New 52-Week High Stocks (MRVL, AKAM, RMBS, SCI, GLW)
Marvell Technology Group Ltd. (NASDAQ: MRVL) has made a new 52-week high at $18.20 after Marvell’s fiscal third-quarter profit - its second in a row after two quarters in the red - almost tripled on a tax benefit and a big margin improvement. The communications-chip maker’s results exceeded its guidance. Currently, MRVL is trading at $17.83, up 7.86% on 11.20 million shares.
Akamai Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: AKAM) has soared 6.23% to $25.25 on 2.99 million shares. Today, AKAM has made a new 52-week high at $25.66 after today it was upgraded by Citigroup from Hold to Buy and price target increased to $31 from $23.
Rambus Inc. (NASDAQ: RMBS) is another stock which made a new 52 week high of $21.81 and now trades at $20.96, increased by $0.72 or 3.51% on 2.85 million shares in the morning trading hours. So far in the current year, RMBS has gained over 30%.
Service Corporation International (NYSE: SCI) has broken its previous 52-week high and made a new high at $8.10 and now up 4.40% to $8.05. In the last six months, IOC is up over 39%.
Corning Incorporated (NYSE: GLW) has made a new 52-week high at $18.59 after Corning received an upgrade from Barclays Capital. GLW was upgraded with a price target up to $23.
