New 52-Week High Stocks (RHT, GCI, NYT, AEZ, SMOD)
Red Hat, Inc. (NYSE: RHT) has made a new 52-week high at $31.76 and now up 4.85% to $31.31 on 1.97 million shares after Red Hat reported a better than estimated Q3 results. It reported Q3 adjusted EPS of $0.17, 1 cent more than the analyst estimate of $0.16. Revenue for the quarter was $194.3 million, above the estimate of $188.49 million.
Gannett Co., Inc. (NYSE: GCI) has jumped 5.83% to $15.25 on 3.87 million shares after Wells Fargo Securities upgraded GCI’s shares to an "outperform" from "underperform". So far this year, GVI is up over 90%.
The New York Times Company (NYSE: NYT) is another stock which made a new 52 week high of $11.99 and now trades at $11.77, increased by $0.74 or 6.71% on 1.29 million shares. Today, Wells Fargo Securities upgraded NYS’s shares to a “Mark Perform” from “Underperform”.
American Oil & Gas Inc. (AMEX: AEZ) has broken its previous 52-week high and made a new high at $4.47 and now up 4.94% to $4.36. . So far this year, AEZ has risen by over 445%.
SMART Modular Technologies (WWH), Inc. (NASDAQ: SMOD) has made a new 52-week high at $6.66 and now up 10.35% to $6.55. So far this year, SMOD has risen by over 330%.
