Ethereum Dips Below $1,200; FTX Token, Solana Among Biggest Losers

Cryptocurrency prices continued to move lower this morning, with prices for Bitcoin BTC/USD, the most valued cryptocurrency in the world, tumbling below the $18,000 level on Wednesday.

Ethereum ETH/USD recorded double-digit losses, falling below the $1,200 mark on Wednesday.

PAX Gold PAXG/USD was the top gainer over the prior 24 hours, while FTX Token FTT/USD turned out to be the biggest loser.

At the time of writing, the global crypto market cap fell to $864.25 billion, recording a 24-hour decline of 10.7%. BTC was trading lower by 9.4% at $17,580, while ETH fell by around 18% to $1,196 on Wednesday.
