Live Cattle Futures Higher

December live cattle is trading at 109.32, up 1.00 cents/lb. February live cattle is trading at 109.70, up 0.85 cents/lb. April live cattle is trading at 109.72, up 0.82 cents/lb. Live cattle futures are trading higher just after the open. Chatter about Friday's USDA cattle on feed report is making the rounds. Trading is expected to be choppy. Friday's USDA cattle slaughter was 115,000 head and Saturday's was 53,000 head. The total for last week was 629,000 head versus 610,000 the previous week and up 10.2% versus a year ago. Some talk about sellers for February near 110.10 is showing up. Buyers are seen near 108.30
