Excluding one-time items, Qwest's earnings came in at $0.12 per share. The company's revenue came in at $2.9 billion. However, analysts were expecting earnings of $0.10 per share on revenue of $2.9 billion.
Omnicom Group Inc (NYSE:
OMC) reported its Q4 net income at $246.5 million, or $0.83 per share, versus $229.6 million, or $0.73 per share, in the year-earlier period. The company's revenue increased around 10% y/y to $3.59 billion. However, analysts had expected earnings of $0.81 per share on revenue of $3.44 billion. OMC shares were 2% down after the results.
Shares of Watsco Inc (NYSE:
WSO) gained about 2.3% after the company reported its Q4 net income at $10.4 million, or $0.31 per share, up from $7.1 million, or $0.21 per share, in the year-ago period. The company's revenue increased 17% y/y to $657 million. However, analysts were expecting earnings of $0.31 per share on revenue of $599.2 million. Watsco also raised its regular quarterly cash dividend by 10%.
