Emerging Global To Roll Out New EM Tech ETF On Thursday - Columbia Research Enhanced Emerging Economies E

Emerging Global, the ETF issuer known for its all-emerging markets lineup, plans to introduce the EGShares Technology Gems ETF (NYSE: QGEM) on Thursday. The new ETF will track the Dow Jones Emerging Markets Technology Titans 30 Index and feature an expense ratio of 0.3%. As of April 30, the average market value of index members was $1.6 billion with a range of $100 million to $6 billion, according to the ETF's prospectus. Index members include Hong Kong-listed TCL Communication Technology Holdings and China's VanceInfo Technologies (NYSE:

VIT

). Some of Emerging Global's better known ETFs include the EGShares Emerging Markets Consumer ETF (NYSE:

ECON

), the EGShares Brazil Infrastructure ETF (NYSE:

BRXX

) and the EGShares India Small Cap ETF (NYSE:

SCIN

). At the end of May, the firm had nine ETFs on the market with $531 million in assets under management, according to data from the National Stock Exchange.
