Blackbaud BLKB gained over 18% in the first hour of trading after reporting positive Q2 earnings. Grand Canyon Education LOPE gained over 17% today after positive Q2 earnings ($0.29 vs $0.23 estimate EPS). Piper Jaffray also raised the price target for the company, to $18 per share. Fluor Corp FLR gained over 5% after posting upbeat Q2 earnings. Brooks Automation BRKS gained over 9% after posting positive Q2 earnings and being upgraded to a hold rating by Citigroup. EOG Resources EOG gained over 4% after posting Q2 earnings ($1.11 EPS vs $0.79 estimate), and giving positive guidance. McGrath RentCorp MGRC gained over 6% today after posting positive Q2 earnings. Clearwire Crop CLWR gained over 7%. The reasoning is not obvious, as it posted negative Q2 earnings.
