) trimmed its production forecast for the year. Randgold now projects production at the mine to exceed 80,000 ounces, versus its earlier forecast of 100,000 ounces. Randgold revised its overall annual production forecast to a range of 740,000 to 760,000 ounces, versus its earlier forecast of 750,000 to 790,000 ounces. Randgold shares dropped 2.48% to close at $103.72 yesterday.
