The Board of Directors of MSA (NYSE:

) has elected Dr. Thomas Muschter a Vice President of the company, responsible for Global Product Leadership. Dr. Muschter succeeds Ronald N. Herring Jr., who, as of November 1, will assume the role of President of MSA International, Western Europe Zone and Middle Eurasia Zone. In his new role, Dr. Muschter will become a member of the company's Executive Leadership Team and will report to William Lambert, President and CEO.
