  • The Facebook parent is amid a multi-year intellectual property licensing and manufacturing deal with Magic Leap.
  • Meta is preparing to launch its Twitter Inc rival, codenamed “P92” and now dubbed “Barcelona,” in the summer of 2023.
  • Meta reportedly shared some screenshots of the new app with a limited number of creators, including Lia Haberman.
  • Interestingly, Meta-owned WhatsApp users can edit their messages for up to 15 minutes after sending them the same.
  • Meta will mark the Edited messages as edited alongside them without showing edit history and protect the edits by end-to-end encryption.
  • Also, Meta looks to let go of 6,000 more workers this week, per CEO Mark Zuckerberg.
  • Meta laid off 11,000 employees in November, and in March this year, Meta announced 10,000 job cuts again.
