Will iPhone 15 Pro Max Disappoint Fans With Familiar Camera? What New Leaks Suggest

Apple Inc. AAPL enthusiasts eagerly waiting for the release of the iPhone 15 Pro Max might be in for a disappointment, as the latest rumor suggests that the highly anticipated device will retain the same camera as its predecessor.

What Happened: Noted leaker Revegnus who goes by the handle @Tech_Reve on Twitter, recently revealed that the highly anticipated iPhone 15 Pro Max could come equipped with IMX803, 48-megapixel Quad-Bayer camera, similar to the one found in Apple's current Pro lineup.

The update could leave some fans disappointed as an earlier rumor had suggested a potential upgrade to Sony Group Corp's SONY latest image sensors.

The leaker added that the iPhone 15 Pro Max could feature the same OLED material, specifically Samsung Electronics Co, Ltd's SSNLF M12 material set, used in Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4

This specific information coincides with an earlier report that stated that the iPhone 15 lineup would use M12 material for its OLED display – previously used on iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max models – but with some changes in the underlying technology.

Why It's Important: The entire iPhone 15 series is rumored to bid farewell to the long-standing Lighting port and embrace USB-C connectivity

Additionally, Apple may be pushing the boundaries by reducing the bezels on the iPhone 15 Pro Max to achieve the slimmest bezel design seen on any smartphone to date.
