DaVita 3rd Quarter EPS $1.15

DaVita Inc. DVA today announced results for the quarter ended September 30, 2010. Net income attributable to DaVita Inc. for the three months ended September 30, 2010 was $119.4 million, or $1.15 per share. This compares to net income attributable to DaVita Inc. for the three months ended September 30, 2009 of $110.9 million, or $1.06 per share. Net income attributable to DaVita Inc. for the nine months ended September 30, 2010, excluding after-tax debt redemption charges of $2.5 million, was $339.2 million, or $3.25 per share as compared with $313.0 million, or $3.00 per share, respectively, for the same period of 2009. Net income attributable to DaVita Inc. for the nine months ended September 30, 2010, including this item, was $336.7 million, or $3.22 per share.
