UBS share holders await Tuesday's full day presentation

UBS AG(NYSE: UBS) Will be center stage in Zurich Tuesday as two key speakers prepare for a day long presentation. Oswald Grubel who took over as chief executive in February will highlight his overall restructuring of UBS,one of the hardest hit banks amid the global downturn.

Interest in the presentation will be high, particularly after dismal third quarter earning the bank reported on Nov 3. This presentation will be the first look at Grubel's cost cutting and restructuring of the Swiss banking giant. UBS'S investment bank, is showing signs of stabilizing after losing significant market share in equity and fixed income trading.

The huge private bank is another story as it failed to stop the mass outflow of clients and assets during a bruising battle with U.S tax authorities over secret UBS offshore accounts. Another main focus will be the debut presention by Robert McCann, a former Merill Lynch executive hired just a month ago to head UBS's ailing U.S wealth management unit.

Amid rumors that MR. Grubel may sell the U.S division over the long term, share holders will be watching Mr. McCann's plans to raise profits and stop the departure of bankers there. A presentation with optimistic targets on profit and a turnaround in banker departures could ignite a rally in the stock.
