Sterling Bancshares, Inc. (NASDAQ: SBIB) fell 2.26% to $5.20 in the pre-market session after Sterling Bancshares announced yesterday that it has commenced a public offering of $80 million of shares of its common stock. Sterling Bancshares closed at $5.32 in the last trading session. In the last six months, SBIB has declined over 35%.
