Biggest NYSE Losers (KYN, AMX, ZLC, PKX, MON, MED)

Kayne Anderson MLP Investment Co. (NYSE: KYN) plunged 6.80% to $23.56 in the pre-market session. Kayne Anderson today announced that it has commenced a public offering of 5,500,000 shares of its common stock. In the last year, KYN is up over 45%. KYN closed at $25.28 in the last trading session.

America Movil S.A.B de C.V. (ADR) (NYSE: AMX) plummeted 4.02% to $48 in the pre-market session. America Movil SA de CV yesterday announced that it will offer to the shareholders of Carso Global Telecom SA de CV (Telecom) an agreement to swap an equivalent of Telecom’s 20,474 shares for 20,474 shares of the Company. The 52-week trading range for AMX is $23.35 - $50.23.

Zale Corporation (NYSE: ZLC) tumbled 8.98% to $2.94 in the pre-market session. Zale Corporation yesterday announced that Neal Goldberg, Chief Executive Officer and member of the Board of Directors, William Acevedo, Chief Stores Officer, and Mary Kwan, Chief Merchandising Officer, have left the Company effective immediately. Zale Corporation closed at $3.23 in the last trading session. ZLC declined 21% in the last six months.

POSCO (ADR) (NYSE: PKX) plunged 2.02% to $132.69 after POSCO announced that it has declared an annual cash dividend of KRW 6,500 per share of common stock to shareholders of record on December 31, 2009 for the fiscal year 2009. The 52-week trading range for PKX is $47.09 - $150.50. In the last three months, PKX gained over 24%.

Monsanto Company (NYSE: MON) declined 1.12% to $83.01 in the pre-market session. Monsanto Company today announced that the U.S. Department of Justice has issued a civil investigative demand requesting information on its soybean traits business. The 52-week trading range for MON is $66.57 - $93.35. MON closed at $83.95 in the previous trading session.

Medifast, Inc. (NYSE: MED) moved down 8.26% to $24.77 in the pre-market session. Barrack, Rodos & Bacine, a securities litigation law firm, is investigating potential violations of the federal securities laws by Medifast, Inc. MED closed at $27 in the last trading session. In the last six months, MED gained over 145%.
