Exelixis plans to complete the $500 million stock repurchase program, announced in August 2024, in the second quarter of 2025 and commence stock repurchases under the newly authorized stock repurchase program thereafter.

When Musk isn't sleeping in his government office, he's reportedly spending time at Mar-a-Lago. <a href="https://people.com/elon-musk-sleeping-office-floor-near-white-house-exclusive-11678717">People magazine quoted sources</a> as saying he was living at Trump's Florida resort during the presidential transition, helping shape the administration's tech policies.
One Palm Beach told People last month that Melania Trump was "glad to have a babysitter for Donald" while Musk was hanging around.
<h2 class="wp-block-heading">So, Why Is Musk Sleeping There?</h2>
It's unclear exactly why Musk is choosing to sleep in the EEOB, but given his history, it's likely just about efficiency. If you ask Musk, he'd probably say something like &#8220;too much work, no time to leave.&#8221;
The White House has not commented on his sleeping habits. Neither has Musk. But for now, the world's richest man is apparently sleeping on the floor, just a few steps from Trump's White House.

Bybit founder Ben Zhou has raised concerns that multisig wallet provider Safe may have been compromised, allowing <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/markets/cryptocurrency/25/02/43886224/bybit-founder-confirms-1-4-billion-ethereum-hack-blames-masked-transaction">hackers to steal $1.4 billion</a> in Ethereum (CRYPTO: <a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/quote/eth/usd">ETH</a>). 
Speaking in a live stream, Zhou explained that the attack targeted Bybit's Ethereum cold wallet, but all other wallets, including its Bitcoin (CRYPTO: <a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/quote/btc/usd">BTC</a>) reserves, remain unaffected.
<h3 class="wp-block-heading">How The Attack Unfolded</h3>
Zhou recounted how the attackers manipulated Bybit's signing process while maintaining the appearance of a legitimate Safe transaction.
&#8220;It was a normal URL. I double-checked. It was the Safe URL from the official Safe website. We always use the official website,&#8221; Zhou said.
He explained that as part of standard security measures, he verified the UI and destination address, ensuring it matched Bybit's warm wallet before approving the transfer. 
However, the actual signing message was altered, not to authorize a simple transfer, but instead to modify the smart contract logic of the cold wallet.
&#8220;The hacker changed that transaction into upgrading or changing the Safe smart contract logic so that he gained control over the entire Ethereum cold wallet,&#8221; Zhou revealed.

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Extent of the Damage And Bybit's Response</h3>
The total stolen amount includes:

<li>401,347 ETH ($1.12 billion)</li>
<li>90,376 stETH ($253 million)</li>
<li>15,000 cmETH ($44 million)</li>
<li>8,000 mETH ($23 million)</li>
</ul>
Despite the breach, Zhou assured users that withdrawals remain open, although processing times have increased due to a surge in requests. 
At the peak, Bybit was handling nearly 100 times the normal withdrawal volume. 
The exchange is currently relying on a bridge loan from partners to maintain liquidity while resolving the issue.
&#8220;We are not currently buying ETH. We secured almost 80% of the stolen amount as a bridge loan to maintain liquidity,&#8221; Zhou confirmed.
<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Investigating The Breach</h3>
Bybit is working closely with Safe's team to determine whether the attack stemmed from a vulnerability on Safe's end. 
Zhou stated that Safe has paused its services to conduct further internal investigations.
&#8220;It could be that the Safe server was hacked, but we don't know yet. We are actively working with Safe to uncover what happened,&#8221; Zhou said.
<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Tracking The Stolen Funds</h3>
Bybit has also received support from major exchanges such as Binance and MEXC and Gate which have pledged to help track and block the stolen assets. 
Zhou encouraged security firms and blockchain analysts to assist in monitoring the movement of funds in hopes of freezing the stolen Ethereum before it is laundered.
<h3 class="wp-block-heading">What's Next?</h3>
Bybit confirmed that it has the financial reserves to cover client losses, stating that the stolen Ethereum represents only a fraction of the exchange's total assets. 
The company also reiterated its commitment to security enhancements and will continue updating users as the investigation progresses.

Drug Delivery revenue was $11.8 million, an increase of 34.1%. Gross margin expanded 120 basis points to 72.1%.
Operating income of $109.3 million, or 18.3% of revenue, fell 260 basis points, compared with operating income of $106.4 million, or 20.9% of revenue, in the prior year.
The company reported adjusted EBITDA of $151.2 million, or 25.3% of revenue, compared with $137.0 million, or 26.9% of revenue, in the prior year.

Guidance: For 2025, Insulet expects revenue growth between 16% and 20%. It projects Omnipod sales to increase by 17%-21%. For Q1 2025, Insulet forecasts revenue growth between 22% and 25%, with U.S. Omnipod sales increasing by 21% % to 24%.
William Blair says Insulet's strong fourth-quarter performance confirms its growing momentum in the large, underpenetrated Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes markets.
Analyst Margaret Kaczor Andrew expects this trend to continue in 2025, driven by key growth catalysts that could accelerate adoption and revenue. With shares trading at 8.5 times the midpoint of 2025 sales guidance, William Blair maintains the stock as Outperform.

BofA Securities analyst Christopher Nardone reiterated a <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/quote/CROX/analyst-ratings">Buy rating</a> on the shares of footwear company Crocs Inc (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/CROX#NASDAQ">CROX</a>) with a price forecast of $153.
The analyst still believes management can meet its goal of modestly growing Crocs N.A. sales in 2025. Key factors include management's positive outlook on a strong wholesale order book for the next six months, along with the analyst&#8217;s optimistic view of upcoming product innovations, which have already received favorable feedback from wholesale partners.
These innovations include the InMotion clog (currently available at a $60 price point), global and product expansions of popular sandal styles like the Getaway, Miami, and Brooklyn, a greater focus on slippers (primarily in the second half of the year), and continued growth in Jibbitz and collaborations (with a full pipeline for this year).
For N.A. sales growth this year, the analyst anticipates a decline in first-quarter across both channels, followed by a rebound in second-quarter. 
First-quarter will face challenges from the leap year, Easter shifting to second-quarter, and a tougher wholesale comparison, with brick-and-mortar stores showing strong double-digit growth in first-quarter 2024, said the analyst.
International sales will remain the primary driver of overall brand growth for Crocs in 2025 and beyond, the analyst noted.

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Crocs&#8217; Growth Markets </h2>
According to the analyst, the biggest growth markets for Crocs this year, in terms of dollar value, are expected to be China, India, and Western Europe, including the UK, Germany, and France.
In 2024, India posed a challenge for the company due to regulatory hurdles that hindered supply from meeting demand. However, as 2025 progresses, the company anticipates an improvement in the supply situation. 
With four factories in India, up from three last year, Crocs plans to scale up production and increase output by the end of the year. This expansion will enable quicker distribution of sandals in India, a key move given the strong demand for sandals in the market.
Heydude is still in the early stages of recovery. <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/25/02/43691979/crocs-smashes-q4-earnings-expectations-amid-strong-china-growth-stock-jumps">Fourth-quarter progress</a> was promising, with better-than-expected digital performance and a return to positive DTC growth, the analyst said.
The analyst expects gross margins in 2025 to be similar to last year. But there may be a slight decline, according to official guidance.
Management plans to increase marketing spending to 10% of sales in 2025, up from 9% in 2024. This includes more investment in both brands, with Heydude focusing on brand awareness. 
The analyst is encouraged by the recent partnerships, including Sydney Sweeney, Jelly Roll, and Travis Hunter. Crocs will also boost influencer spending and maintain focus on Tier-1 markets.
HeyDude&#8217;s continued progress will drive multiple growth, the analyst added. Also, the company&#8217;s cash flow potential is undervalued.
Price Action: Crocs shares are trading higher by 0.25% at $109.15 at the last check Friday.

Crocs Poised For Expansion, Analyst Counts China, India, Western Europe Among Biggest Growth Markets

At $2,930 on February 21, gold prices have been up 6.6% over the past 30 days and up 45% over the past year. Gold prices have crested the benchmark $3,000 per-ounce level, reaching $3,100 in mid-February.
That performance outpaces stocks, bonds, and most global currencies as volatility has taken hold of financial markets.
And that&#8217;s just the beginning. Wall Street analysts are forecasting even gold will keep rising this year.
Here are the three best ways to play that rise in gold prices.
A case in point &#8211; Goldman Sachs recently called gold prices to rise for the remainder of the year, between $3,100 and $3,300, as central bank demand and political instability push golf prices up by 10%.
&#8220;Policy uncertainty — including tariff fears — stays high; higher speculative positioning for longer could push gold prices as high as $3,300 an ounce by year-end,&#8221; noted Goldman strategist Lina Thomas in a recent research outlook.
Other analysts are in general agreement.
&#8220;A more forceful rally relative to our previous expectation is likely to be driven by deep-rooted bullish sentiment, with gold seen as a safe-haven asset amid a highly uncertain and volatile macro environment,&#8221; UBS said in a new research note.
Commodity sector insiders are even more bullish, with a $4,000 gold price in the cards.
"The current surge in gold prices and demand underscores the profound uncertainty gripping individual investors and global markets,&#8221; said Paul Williams, managing director at Solomon Global, a certified gold and silver bars and coin supplier. "This doesn't look like a short-lived rally —it's a response to entrenched geopolitical tensions, economic fragility, and shifting global power dynamics."
As volatility escalates, gold remains the ultimate hedge, offering stability in an increasingly unpredictable world. "Considering these factors, the $3,000 milestone looks feasible in the next few weeks, and if gold was to make the same gains as it has over the last 12 months, we're looking at $4,250 this time next year," Williams says.
Other gold watchers are pumping the breaks, noting that major global currency movements could tamp commodity prices down in 2025.&nbsp;
"Gold prices will remain elevated throughout 2025 against the backdrop of increased Central Banks purchases, mounting concerns about disruptive US tariffs and demand from newly introduced gold ETFs," said Peter Smith, senior international equity strategist at Federated Hermes, which regularly tracks gold prices. "Central banks are increasingly moving away from Treasuries as investments for their currency reserves, with China in particular, sitting on a $1 trillion trade surplus in 2024, is aggressively buying gold."
However, gold could weaken if the interest rate differential stays wide between the US and the rest of the world. "This could lead to the dollar remaining strong, which should put downward pressure on gold," Smith says. "This is not our base case, but with inflation sticky in the US, the Federal Reserve has signaled it is willing to keep rates higher for longer."
<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Three Gold Plays to Make in 2025</h2>
So, while the trend remains positive for gold and other commodities (silver, for instance, is up 40% so far in 2025), here&#8217;s what sector experts say is the smart play for investors looking to add a yellow hedge to their portfolios.
Gold mining stocks. Stocks of companies that mine gold, such as Newmont (USA), Barrick Gold (Canada), and Freeport McMoRan (USA), offer the opportunity to profit when the metal's price rises, says Julia Khandoshko, CEO of broker Mind Money, a European investment technology and financial engineering hub.
"Investors should note that gold mining stocks can also be risky, so factor that reality into portfolio selection and discuss any trades with a trusted financial advisor," Khandoshko says. "Nevertheless, gold mining stocks can offer better returns than direct investments, especially if the chosen company manages its resources effectively and successfully copes with external challenges."
Gold ETFs. For new investors, spot gold ETFs like SPDR Gold Shares (GLD) can be the easiest and most efficient way to gain exposure to gold, with the larger sector ETFs making the most sense right out of the gate.
Gold ETFs are one of the best options for investing in gold efficiently without the hassle of storing physical bars. "They track the price of gold and are easy to buy and sell, just like a stock," says Chris Heerlein, CEO of REAP Financial, an investment advisory firm based in Austin, Texas.&nbsp;
GLD has some other features gold fund investors might appreciate.
"In addition to being highly liquid, SPDR Gold Shares has always been my favorite gold ETF for two reasons," said Michael Martin, vice president of market strategy at TradingBlock, a Chicago-based market technology trading company. "First, it holds physical gold as opposed to gold futures, so it doesn't suffer decay in value over time. Second, it has the highest assets under management, at $78.1 billion in net assets." The fund is trading at $270 as of February 21.
Physical gold. If you feel ambitious and want direct control over your gold investment, consider investing in physical gold.
"Buying physical gold is a good move because it's the safest and most reliable, as it eliminates counterparty risk," says Alex Ebkarian, COO and co-founder at California-based Allegiance Gold. "It fits the needs of those looking to preserve wealth, diversify their portfolio, and most importantly want and desire to maintain control of the asset and eliminate counterparty risk and addresses declining trust in paper gold."
Buying physical gold requires having "a mid-to-long term outlook on return on investment, as well as preferring ownership of a physical asset versus exposure to the gold stock or fund sector," Ebkarian added.

This week, the company reported fourth-quarter EPS loss of 7 cents per share, falling short of the analyst consensus estimate of loss of 6 cents&nbsp;and revenue&nbsp;of $46.21 million,&nbsp;missed the consensus&nbsp;<a target="_blank" href="https://www.benzinga.com/pressreleases/25/02/n43796921/truecar-releases-fourth-quarter-2024-financial-results-and-stockholder-letter" rel="noreferrer noopener">estimate of $47.29 million</a>.
The analyst cites the weakening tailwinds from inventory and limited visibility on a sustained turnaround in revenue and profits as reasons for the downgrade.&nbsp;
The analyst writes that it was a disappointing quarter for the company with an uncertain path to recovery in growth and profitability, especially as the boost from rising new vehicle inventories begins to fade.&nbsp;
While upcoming products like TCMS, OEM advertising, and data monetization, along with TC+ integration into DMS platforms, offer potential, TRUE must demonstrate clear results from its initiatives and investments in sales and marketing, adds the analyst.
The analyst says that&nbsp;the possibility of a merger or partnership with industry peers cannot be ruled out.&nbsp;
Gupta revised the FY25 EBITDA estimate from the previous +$15 million to breakeven due to weaker dealer revenue. The analyst also lowered the FY26 estimate from +$35 million to +$25 million. 
Due to these significantly reduced projections, the analyst also withdrew his price forecast on the stock.
Price Action: TRUE shares are down 5.21% at $2.531 at the last check Friday.

What Happened: In a post on <a href="https://x.com/matthew_sigel/status/1892654369025245281">X</a> on Friday, Sigel highlighted VanEck's estimates that if Bitcoin appreciates at 25% annually—rising from $100,000 today to $21 million per BTC by 2049—the reserve could offset 18% of the projected U.S. debt.
This assumes debt grows at 5% annually, reaching $116 trillion by 2049 (up from $36 trillion in 2025).
While this theory is highly optimistic, it underscores Bitcoin's potential as a sovereign reserve asset and a hedge against inflationary debt expansion.
The BITCOIN Act introduced by Wyoming Senator Cynthia Lummis proposes the U.S. accumulate 1 million BTC over five years and hold it for at least 20 years as a strategic Bitcoin reserve.

Kalshi <a href="https://kalshi.com/markets/kxbtcreserve/bitcoin-reserve">data</a> sees a 59% probability that Trump would establish a Bitcoin Reserve if elected, up from 53.8% on Feb. 12.
Arkansas is set to become the first state to establish a Bitcoin reserve, with amendments expected by March 5. Meanwhile, Texas is preparing to debate the proposal in its Senate.
