AnythingIT ANYI recently it will be participating in the first annual WeedStock Conference presented by Marketfy. The conference will take place in Denver, Colorado from June 29 through July 1 and will feature exclusive presentations by a collection of public and private companies, along with internationally acclaimed cannabis investors.
AnythingIT recently launched a new business line, WeedHire.com, which is expected to fill a much needed service: connecting employers and employees in the quickly evolving legal marijuana industry. CEO David Bernstein commented in an interview with 420 Investor Alan Brochstein, “Legalized Marijuana we believe should create thousands of new jobs across the nation, as new companies are created all of whom require staffing and HR. Unlike the tech boom of the 1990’s, the cannabis industry is attracting individuals from all sectors and ages.”
Hiring needs will reach far beyond growing and retail sale. The industry will need food processors, lawyers, plumbers, security and lab technicians.
AnythingIT plans to spread word of its new offering via on and offline advertising. Strategies include keyword search, banner advertising, tradeshows, and other solutions. Because the cannabis industry is expected to expand from $1.5 billion a year to $6 billion a year by 2018, opportunities for AnythingIT are significant.
In his interview with Brochstein, Bernstein hinted at the possibility for other marijuana services down the line: “The are many areas which could be a terrific vertical, but at this moment in time Weedhire is the only item we have announced and are limited in what we can legally say.”
WeedHire.com just launched on May 29th, making WeedStock one of the first events where the company discusses its new offering. “We are very excited to present at the WeedStock conference and introduce to investors our innovative jobs marketplace,” stated Bernstein.
Spots for WeedStock are very limited, be sure to sign up before supply runs out.
