On Wednesday, Trump Media & Technology Group Corp. DJT has announced the successful launch of its Truth+ streaming app for Roku, Inc.’s ROKU Roku TV.
Truth+ will provide family-friendly programming for Americans seeking an alternative to what the company views as “biased” news and “woke” entertainment.
The Truth+ platform features news broadcasts, entertainment, faith-based content, weather updates, documentaries, children’s programming, and more.
Initially, the Roku app will provide access to live TV channels, with Video on Demand content to be added in the near future.
The company’s CEO and Chairman Devin Nunes emphasized the significance of Truth+ as an alternative to what he called “discredited legacy news channels.”
“Truth+ is the singular option for non-woke TV and movies, as well as a great alternative to discredited legacy news channels that have squandered the trust of the American people,” Nunes said.
Looking ahead, TMTG plans to expand the availability of Truth+ with additional apps for platforms like Samsung and LG, as well as continue beta testing and refining the service.
The streaming technology is powered by the firm’s custom-designed multi-site Content Delivery Network, designed to make the service “uncancellable by Big Tech.”
According to Benzinga Pro, DJT stock has lost over 44% in the past year.
