Tyco International Reports Second Quarter Earnings

Tyco International TYC today reported $0.67 in diluted earnings per share (EPS) from continuing operations for the fiscal second quarter of 2011 and diluted EPS from continuing operations before special items of $0.73 per share. Excluding the Electrical & Metal Products business, which is now reported as an equity investment, revenue in the quarter of $4.0 billion increased 6% versus the prior year with organic revenue growth of 3%.
