Higher year-over-year earnings in the company's Employer Group and Health and Well-Being Services business segments were partially offset by lower earnings in the company's Retail business segment. EPS for 1Q11 and 1Q10 were positively impacted by $0.31 per share and $0.37 per share, respectively, as a result of favorable development of prior-period medical claims reserves.
