Pete Najarian Would Buy Monsanto (MON)

Share:

CNBC's Fast Money Pete Najarian thinks that Monsanto (NYSE: MON) is a buy after a pullback of 5.01% on Thursday. Monsanto (MON), the world's biggest seed company, forecasted fiscal 2010 earnings below Wall Street's estimates.

Dennis Gartman , author of The Gartman Letter on Fast Money's Halftime Report would be careful about buying Monsanto (MON) right now. Gartman thinks that it is basically a bet on how much will be planted next year, and he expects less planting of corn and soybeans next year.

Monsanto (MON) closed at $79.30 and its daily low was $77.71.
