$50M Equity Transaction Announces by AgFeed Industries, Inc. (FEED)

AgFeed Industries (Nasdaq: FEED) entered into a two year Equity Credit Agreement with an institutional investor. With this from time to time, the company will sell shares of its common stock to the investor for aggregate gross proceeds of up to $50M. The shares would be sold to the investor at a discount to then-current market price. AgFeed is one of China's largest commercial hog producers in terms of total annual hog production as well as one of the largest premix feed company in terms of revenues.
