Athenahealth, Inc. (NASDAQ: ATHN), which provides internet based services to medical practices, fell 13% in trading today to $37.80. The company has deferred the announcement of its fourth-quarter, and 2009 financial results, and said that it will conduct an accounting policy review.
Cogent, Inc. (NASDAQ: COGT) fell by 8.4% to $9.56 in trading today. The fingerprint identification systems maker reported results for the fourth-quarter. Cogent reported EPS of $0.11, which excludes one-time items. The EPS was below the consensus estimate by 8.3%, according to a Bloomberg survey.
Fluor Corporation (NYSE: FLR) fell by 5.8% in trading today to $42.45. The company issued EPS guidance for 2010. The engineering firm expects EPS to be in the range of $2.80-$3.20 in 2010. The consensus estimate is for EPS of $3.42, according to a Bloomberg survey.
Gap, Inc. (NYSE: GPS) rose 1.8% to $20.75 in trading today. Gap, which operates Old Navy, and Banana Republic clothing chains, expects full year profit to be in the range of $1.70-$1.75 per share. The consensus EPS estimate, according to a Bloomberg survey, is $1.69. The company has also announced that it will raise dividend by 18% to $0.40, and also buy back shares worth $1 billion.
Hansen Natural Corporation (NASDAQ: HANS) shares rose 1.8% to $41.15 in trading today. The beverage maker has reported results for the fourth-quarter. The company reported profit of $0.57 per share, beating the consensus estimate by 8.4%.
