New 52-Week High Stocks (HSNI,AM,RHT,CTXS,HOGS)
HSN, Inc. (NASDAQ: HSNI) crossed its earlier 52-week high of $14.56 and touched a new 52-week high at $15.06 in today’s morning trade. Currently the stock is trading at $14.73, up 2.51% on 190K shares. In the last one month the stock has surged over 29%.
American Greetings Corporation (NYSE: AM) soared 22% to $18.33 on total volume of 1.36 million shares. Today it made a new 52-week high of $19 on after it reported second quarter EPS of $0.59 Thursday morning, which included a pre-tax benefit from an insurance program of about $0.19 per share. The consensus estimate was for EPS of $0.06.
Red Hat, Inc. (NYSE: RHT) was another which made a new 52 week high of $28.68 and now trades at $28.04, increased 12.70% after it reported net income for the quarter ended Aug. 31 of $28.9 million, or 15 cents a share. That was up from $21.1 million, or 10 cents a share, a year earlier. Revenue climbed 12% to $183.6 million
Citrix Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: CTXS) made a new 52-week high at $38.34 and currently trading higher 4.10% at $37.64 on unusual volume of 2.55 million shares after Goldman Sachs analyst Sarah Friar added CTXS to the firm’s Conviction Buy list, setting a price target of $44. The stock yesterday closed at $36.14. Friar notes that Street estimates are shifting higher on improving enterprise demand. She writes in a research note that operating margins should improve as cost cuts taken through the downturn take effect.
ZHONGPIN INC. (NASDAQ: HOGS) today broken its previous 52-week high and made a new high at $14.48 and now up 1.54% and trades at $13.85 with a total volume of 690K shares. In the last 6 months the stock has gained over 60%.
