Wendel Reports Rise In First-Half Net Profit

Wendel (OTC: WNDLF) reported a rise in its net profit for the first half of 2011. Wendel's net profit for the period surged to EUR453 million, from EUR125 million, in the year-ago period. Wendel's consolidated sales climbed 21% to EUR3.14 billion.
