Netflix Climbing On High Volume, Again! (NFLX)

Shares of Netflix, Inc. (NASDAQ: NFLX) are surging again today on high volume. The stock opened about flat compared to yesterday's closing price, but big buyers stepped in right off the open, driving the shares 3.61% higher in the first half an hour of trading. Right now NFLX stock is exchanging hands for $82.88. Only 3 months ago, this was a $53 security. In just the last 5 trading sessions, NFLX has gained 11.79%. The company's market cap is currently around $4.4 billion.

The bullish activity in Netflix comes on the heals of a Wall Street Journal article which said that the company's online video rental application for streaming movies was the top free non-Apple (NASDAQ: AAPL) application for the iPad.
