Some of the narrow based indexes that are supporting the markets are Grocery Store Stocks, which have gained 3.3%, Home Furnishing Retailer Stocks, up 3.1%, and Stem Cell Stocks, moving 2.8% higher as a group.
In Tickerspy's Grocery Store complex, Winn-Dixie Stores Inc WINN had surged 70.6%. Bi-Lo LLC announced its plans to buy Winn-Dixie for $560 million.
The best performing Tickerspy Home Furnishing Retailer stock has been Kirkland's Inc KIRK, which was up 4.3%. KIRK's trailing-twelve-month revenue is $420.78 million.
Neostem Inc NBS is today's leading Tickerspy's Stem Cell stock, gaining 5.6%. NBS has a dividend yield of 13.60%.
