Guggenheim Strategic Fund Announces Pricing of 1.5M Common Share Public Offering at$20.35/Share

Guggenheim Strategic Opportunities Fund

today announced the pricing of a public offering of common shares. The Fund agreed to sell a total of 1,500,000 common shares (exclusive of 225,000 common shares that the underwriters may purchase pursuant to a 45-day option to cover over-allotments) at a price of $20.35 per share. Net proceeds, before deduction of offering expenses, from the offering of approximately $29.3 million will be used to make additional portfolio investments that are consistent with the Fund's investment objective and for general corporate purposes. The offering is scheduled to close on January 31, 2012.
