Commonwealth Bank of Australia FY12 Net Profit Up 11%

Commonwealth Bank of Australia CMWAY reported an 11% surge in its net profit in fiscal 2012. The bank's net profit surged to 7.09 billion Australian dollars (US$7.4 billion). Its cash profit gained 4% to A$7.11 billion. Commonwealth Bank of Australia shares closed at $58.26 yesterday.
