Supercars And Leaky Brakes Don't Mix: Ferrari's Recall Of Nearly 20 Years Of Cars

  • Ferrari NV’s RACE road car division is in the process of recalling all of its cars sold since 2005, Ars Technica reported.
  • A possible faulty brake fluid reservoir cap that might cause brake failure is the reason for the decision to recall.
  • In order to remedy the issue, the company must replace the current reservoir caps on the cars and install new software in the vehicles to provide warnings if a brake fluid leak occurs.
  • The report noted that the estimated number with fault constitutes about 23,555 cars in the U.S.
  • Price Action: RACE shares are trading higher by 0.25% at $215.53 on the last check Thursday.
