Vienna Insurance H1 Net Profit Up 7.5%

Vienna Insurance Group (OTC:

) reported a 7.5% rise in its net profit in the first half of the year. Vienna Insurance's net profit for the period surged to EUR231.3 million. Its consolidated premiums rose around 12% y/y to EUR5.3 billion in the period. Vienna Insurance shares gained 3.63% to close at $8.57 yesterday.
