Warning: Allergy Alert - Undeclared Eggs and Soy in Crown Brand Cereal Cookie

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) is warning people with allergies to eggs and soy not to consume the Crown brand Cereal Cookie described below. The affected product contains eggs and soy which are not declared on the label.
All Best Before date codes of the Crown brand Cereal Cookie, made in China and sold in 183 g packages bearing UPC 8 801111 614634, are affected by this alert. This product is known to have been distributed in Ontario, Quebec and Nova Scotia. However, it may have been distributed nationally.
There have been no reported illnesses associated with the consumption of this product.
Consumption of this product may cause a serious or life-threatening reaction in persons with allergies to eggs or soy.
The importer is voluntarily recalling the affected product from the marketplace. The CFIA is monitoring the effectiveness of the recall.
