Alyssa Milano Ripped On Twitter After Returning Her Tesla for Volkswagen: Elon Musk Responds

Actress and political activist Alyssa Milano recently boasted about trading in a Tesla for a Volkswagen electric vehicle. She said on Twitter that it was to defy "hate and white supremacy" and businesses buying ads on Twitter. 

Reacting to her comment on white supremacy, the Twitter community ripped into Milano, saying Volkswagen was engineered and built in Nazi Germany.

Many of them were quick to point out Milano's error.

Comedian Hodgetwins responded to Milano, pointing out Volkswagen's history with Hitler and Nazi Germany.

Responding to Milano, John Rich said that the irony is epic.

One Twitter member reposted Milano's older posts on Twitter, where she thanked Musk after she bought a Tesla model X back in April. 

Another actress pointed out Milano's post and said this:

Following the bashing of Milano and all the trolls, Tesla CEO Elon Musk reacted with a laughing smile emoji. 

Last week, Musk announced that a general amnesty for all the suspended accounts would begin soon. 

Musk states that the amnesty is for those suspended accounts that have "not broken the law or engaged in egregious spam."
