Crypto prices traded higher this morning, with Bitcoin BTC/USD, the most valued cryptocurrency in the world, trading above the $16,800 level on Wednesday.
Ethereum ETH/USD also recorded gains, trading above the major $1,200 level.
Fantom FTM/USD was the top gainer over the prior 24 hours, while ApeCoin APE/USD turned out to be the biggest loser.
At the time of writing, the global crypto market cap rose to $849.70 billion, recording a 24-hour gain of 2%. BTC was trading higher by 2.4% at $16,815.27, while ETH rose by around 4.4% to $1,262 on Wednesday.
