Adrian, MI, Oct. 30, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- VWerks, a specialty vehicle builder and off road parts manufacturer, announced today its new dealer direct program for Jeep Wranglers that customizes JKs to make them look more extreme and be more off-road capable. Through select dealerships, customers can now order Jeeps upfitted with additional hardware to match the level of off-road ability they need and desire.

The packages, which are available for both two-door and four-door Jeep Wranglers, as well as JK8s, come in five different stages, each with increasing levels of capabilities. Stage 1 offers a 3" Daystar coil spring spacer kit, performance shocks, 17" Pro Comp wheels with 33" All-Terrain Pro Comp tires and exterior badges. Stage 2 builds off of the first stage, adding Rugged Ridge rock rails, Bilstein Gas Shocks and a VWerks steering stabilizing kit. Stage 3 gets even more serious by bumping up to 35" Pro Comp Mud Terrain tires, a J.E. Reel CV style front driveshaft and a Rugged Ridge billet grille inset screen.

The Stage 4 Package is aggressive looking and trail-ready, adding a VWerks front bumper with shackles, a Warn winch and IPF driving lights. Stage 5 tops out with the addition of a VWerks fabricated steel rear bumper, an AEV rear bumper swing-out tire carrier and third brake light and durable Rugged Ridge recovery gear.

VWerks manufactures individual off road parts such as front and rear bumpers, rock rails and tubular fenders for customers looking to customize their pre-owned vehicle. In addition to the accessories and dealer packages, VWerks does custom vehicle builds as well.
