A leading fantasy sports and sports betting company has been honored with the “Challenger” award from Benzinga at the first-ever Titans Sports Betting conference.
What’s A Challenger?: The Challenger award is reserved for innovators and upstarts disrupting the industry of sports betting. A jury evaluated key criteria including innovation, execution, financial performance and compliance.
The Decision: Bet365 received the award for its extensive years of experience in the online sports betting industry and for earning the trust of 88 million players worldwide.
The U.K.-based firm has been increasing its attempts to penetrate the U.S., with Bet365 already available in New Jersey, Colorado, Ohio and Virginia, with more states coming soon.
Bet365 launched operations in Colorado in September 2022 via a licensing and revenue-sharing agreement with Century Casinos, Inc. CNTY. Today, it's a partner of major U.S. sports organizations, including the MLB, NBA, NHL and NFL.
The firm's partnership with the Cleveland Guardians was instrumental in facilitating its entrance into the Ohio market. The company subsequently became a leading contender in the state's sports betting market.
Bet365 was the world's most valuable gambling firm in 2021, with an aggregate worth of $3.37 billion at the time, according to Statista.
The company offers the industry's broadest choice of "in-play" sports betting events, with over 75 sports covered and over 600,000 games live video-streamed yearly to over 80 million registered consumers from over 160 countries.
Benzinga congratulates the Bet365 team for their lengthy track record of achievement, leading brand recognition in the online gaming industry and their attempts to enter the U.S. market.
