Amazon.Com, Inc AMZN cloud division AWS has attracted thousands of customers to try out its service vying with Microsoft Corp MSFT and Alphabet Inc GOOG GOOGL Google in a critical area of artificial intelligence.
Organizations including Ryanair and Sun Life have tried out Amazon Bedrock, which lets businesses create applications with various AI models, Reuters cites Vice President Swami Sivasubramanian. Such generative technology can produce new text, images, and other content on command.

On Wednesday, AWS launched new AI tools, including a program for building more conversational customer-service agents and technology access from the startup Cohere.
"Our mission is to make every company an AI company," said Sivasubramanian in an interview.
Amazon Bedrock competes with Google and Microsoft, cloud rivals that have developed or marketed AI.
Amazon's disclosure of thousands of Bedrock users, previously unreported, shows its efforts are attracting interest as well.
Amazon leveraged artificial intelligence to speed up deliveries — by minimizing the distance between its products and customers.
Amazon also tapped AI to drive its logistics, including transportation, where customers search for products on Amazon and to figure out where to place its inventory.
Price Action: AMZN shares traded lower by 0.35% at $128.68 on the last check Wednesday.
