GM Recalls 900 Vehicles Over Takata Air Bag Inflator Rupture: Report

General Motors Co GM has reportedly issued a fresh recall for about 900 older vehicles with Takata air bag inflators.

The recall will cover 2013 Chevrolet Camaro, Sonic, Volt, and TRAX (Canada-only), and Buick Verano vehicles, including 767 in the U.S.,101 in Canada and 46 in other countries, reported Reuters.

The move comes after a 2013 Chevrolet Camaro crash in Brazil in May 2022 resulted in the airbag inflator rupture.

The automaker made the latest recall after an investigation into the Brazil incident confirmed airbag inflator ruptured during deployment.
