Empire Q3 Profit Drops 6%

Empire Co (OTC:

) reported a 6% drop in its third-quarter profit. Empire's quarterly net earnings declined to C$75.2 million ($73.2 million), or C$1.11 a share, versus C$80 million, or C$1.17 a share, in the year-ago period. Its sales increased 9% to C$4.34 billion.
