Former President Donald Trump stirred up excitement at an Iowa pub by handing out pizzas to his supporters on Wednesday.

What Happened: Trump made an unexpected stop at the Treehouse Pub & Eatery in Bettendorf, Iowa, where he was greeted with chants of “U-S-A” and renditions of “Proud to be an American.”

While at the pub, Trump interacted with patrons, taking photos, and talking with supporters, including signing one woman’s shirt. He even asked, “Who wants one?” as he distributed pizza boxes to the crowd.

Recent Fox Business Polls show Trump maintaining a strong lead in Iowa with 46% support among likely caucus goers.

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis trails behind at 15%, followed by former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley at 11%. Trump’s popularity in the state is also reflected in his national lead over Republican opponents, as per another recent poll.
