While an exact date for their removal wasn't specified, Microsoft mentioned it would happen "in the next two weeks."

These games will be available for purchase at a 20% discount before being removed from the subscription service.

Meanwhile, Phil Spencer, the head of Xbox, recently acknowledged a price increase for Xbox Game Pass was "inevitable" in the future.

This comes after a recent price hike, which was justified as necessary due to inflation and economic factors.

"We believe it is important to provide services that are recognized as being of sufficient value even if prices are increased," Xbox's boss said.

Currently, Game Pass monthly prices range from $9.99/£7.99 for a PC subscription to $16.99/£12.99 for the Ultimate version if subscribed through Microsoft's website.
