Fans Are Angry: Pixel fans on social media are angry, especially since Pixel phones have lower trade-in values when compared to iPhones.
"It’s pretty insulting. My hype just crashed and burned," said one user on Reddit.
"iPhone XR is worth about the same as my Pixel 7, lol. 5 year old phone vs Google’s 1 year old phone," said another user.
However, it could just be Google offering higher trade-in values for iPhones to lure them out of Apple's ecosystem. Whether that will be enough motivation or not remains to be seen.
